Why are more Pret stores opening?
In a blog post addressed to customers, Pret chief executive, Pano Christou, said: “We’ve had a great response from those ordering through our delivery partners, enjoying their Pret favourites again from home.
Me Christou added that this has given the chain the “confidence” to reopen further stores, with 71 branches set to open from Monday 11 May, including Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leeds.
“As the government has advised, these shops will be open for takeaway and delivery only.”
